Cortland-Onondaga Regional Trash Partnership

Cortland and Onondaga County assumed Co-Lead Agency status for the environmental review process (SEQR) for this project. 

Both the Cortland County and Onondaga County Legislatures approved the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) for public review and comment. All comments were considered and substantive comments were incorporated into a Responsiveness Summary and Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS). The FEIS must undergo a thorough review within each County Legislature, be deemed acceptable, and officially adopted through resolution prior to its use in developing a Findings Statement for the project.

A review draft of the FEIS has been provided to each County Legislature to be used in their review and can be viewed by the public here.

Written comments were accepted through January 17, 2015. Public comments were also heard and recorded at public hearings held in each County:
