#1 - Reuse
Please do not put toys in the blue bin. If toys are in good condition:
1) Bring them to the Rescue Mission Thrifty Shopper. In addition to items that are fully functional and intact, the Rescue Mission ALSO accepts toys that are broken or missing pieces, excluding puzzles and board games.
2) Bring toys to the Salvation Army.
3) Contact consignment shops or other charitable organizations.
4) Visit OCRRA’s Reuse page to find more reuse options.
#2 - Dispose
Remove batteries from toys and manage them separately. Visit our batteries management page for guidance.
After the batteries have been removed, you can place toys in the trash or drop items off at the Rock Cut Road Transfer Station.
