#1 - Reuse
If your ride-on toy is in good working condition, considering selling it or donating the item for another child. Battery-powered ride-on toys are accepted by the Salvation Army. Call ahead to confirm preparation requirements.
#2 - Dispose
If the toy is not battery-powered, it may be disposed of in the trash or dropped off at the Rock Cut Road Transfer Station.
If batteries are removable, remove them from the toy before disposing of the ride-on toy. Visit our battery management page for guidance on how to manage your ride-on toy battery. After the battery has been removed and properly managed, you can drop off ride-on toys at the Rock Cut Road Transfer Station.
