If you have a battery operated lawn mower, the battery must be removed and managed separately. Read the label, identify the battery type, then visit OCRRA’s battery management page and follow the steps for guidance.
#1 - Recycle
This item does not belong in your home recycling bin. However, the metal can be recovered for recycling when dropped off for proper management.
First, remove gas, oil or the battery from the machine. This will prevent combustion or accidents during transportation and disposal. Then deliver to OCRRA’s Rock Cut Road Drop-Off Site.
#2 - Reuse
If the lawn mower is in good working condition, post on a Reuse website.
