#1 - Recycle
Metal furniture can be delivered to OCRRA’s Rock Cut Road Drop-Off Site to be recycled. Please review the fees section before making the trip.
#2 - Reuse
Furniture in good condition (no rips or stains) can be donated to various organizations, including the following locations:
- Salvation Army www.salvationarmy.org, (315) 445-0520
- Rescue Mission Thrifty Shopper, (315) 453-7242. Can’t drop off your furniture? The Rescue Mission partners with a hauler that will disassemble furniture and deliver it to the Rescue Mission for a fee. Visit their website to learn more about the service and fees.
- A Tiny Home for Good, (315) 220-0240
- Syracuse Habitat ReStore, [email protected], (315) 475-9172 (prefer furniture from smoke-free homes). The Syracuse Habitat ReStore is not accepting items during construction in fall 2025. They expect donations to be acceptable again in mid-November. Call ahead to be sure they have room for your item/load. They cannot always accommodate donations when space is limited.
NOTE: mattresses, box springs, waterbeds, bean bag chairs and bunk beds are generally NOT accepted for donations.

#3 - Dispose
Deliver to OCRRA’s Rock Cut Road Drop-Off Site for a fee.
