These items should NOT go in the recycle bin. They will not be recycled if placed in the recycle bin, but instead will cause machinery problems at the recycling sorting facility.
Bruin in Liverpool and Bodow in Syracuse accept Christmas lights year-round. Call in advance for program details as some preparation is required.
Also, you can consider a mail-back program such as the one offered by HolidayLEDs.com.

If recycling these lights isn’t in your future, please put them in the trash.
