#1 - Recycle
If it is clean, put aluminum foil in the recycling bin. First, wad it up into a ball. Flat aluminum foil is often mistaken for paper by the machinery that sorts recyclables. After you wad it up, put aluminum foil in your recycling bin.
#2 - Dispose
If it cannot be cleaned, please discard dirty aluminum foil with trash.
